In many ways he has made a rod for his own back, if he fronted up to questions Burnsey was raising for example, which mostly were exactly what us supporters wanted to know the answer to, he may well avoid a lot of the social media anger. I never condone any online abuse, whether directed at a manager, players or via their families, that is totally a no-no. But in a way, the way he is handling himself, he is opening up to the possibility of this happening.

    Might as well play him.

He might be a headless chicken, blind alley seeker but he's got to be more effective than Wilks has been recently.

Wilks wouldnt even make the effort to run down the blind alley to see it was a dead end

No unexpected changes in the team then, what a surprise.

I don't think Wilks' problem is lack of effort or laziness. He bombed back in the last minutes of the game after Ingram went up for the corner and tried to put in a sliding tackle on Szmodics (wasn't a successful tackle mind).

Credit where it's due JEx, he's got Cartwright on the bench instead of Baxter.

Has Baxter had a game yet?
