Or put another way, they all looked a bag of nerves, see also Boro and Coventry. A serious question, do you ever post anything positive? You must be the most negative poster on here
Yes. I could ask you a question about that, but you would not answer. The defences nerves can be a consequence of a keeper not playing to expectation. Defenders are having to expect the unexpected, and this will lead to uncertainty.
Ashton, get real. O'leary is a liability and doesn't exude or give any confidence to a beleaguered defence. Our defending from front to back was weak today, but O'leary gifted them a lead and instead of being 1 up with Tanner's goal we're just back level. If we'd have scored first, their crowd would have gone quiet and who knows what the result would have been. Just illustrates, again, how important a good keeper is.
The sad truth is that as seasons pass by O’Leary doesn’t improve Today was a vivid illustration of why we desperately need a seasoned and competent keeper who gives his defence confidence
O'leary was more than a decent shop stopper but never been a boss of his box but lately hes become the tea boy and the shot stopping has dropped off !!!! Team has been performing at some level since feb O'learys?? Big massive few weeks ahead step it up!!!
We were poor all over, to pick on individuals is missing the point. Not one of them played well today, it happens, move on.
We were second to everything all over the pitch. I can’t understand how we failed to control the same ball that Luton seemed to have no trouble in getting under control. When we DID have a breakthrough, the referee unbelievably fkd up the most blatantly obvious penalty decision he’d have to make in his career.
The whole team were poor not one decent performance -don’t mind losing but we did not turn up or want it.
That is harder said than done this ain’t going to be easy. We will get battered next week at Leeds bring the headingley score board.
an Suggest you stick with your team mate, some other Forums arent too tolerant of Racists. Sure even some of those Foreign Types will know ithe word is actually PredominaNTLY & even I as a non supporter know iJohn was ATYEO. Good Luck to the rest of you for hopefully the next few weeks, would be good if your team succeeds with promotion over the other ''Big '' Teams (and for seemingly ignoring Mr Robins 'Masterpiece')
The front line, the back line, the middle line, the goalkeeper, the referee - and the tea lady were poor today. Thank God for the other results. We only lost to spite Cardiff…..!
Despite today’s underwhelming performance, oddly enough due to Coventry and Middlesbrough losing, we are in a better position to qualify for the playoffs….. Even if after next Saturdays results where Coventry beat Luton, Blackburn beat Watford,Middlesbrough beat Norwich and Millwall beat Swansea, the table would read after 45 games which is the worst case scenario…….. 5th. Coventry 69 6th. Bristol city 67 7th. Middlesbrough 66 8th. Millwall 66 9th. Blackburn 65 If we lost at Leeds would still be in a playoff spot going into the last round of fixtures… If we got 3 points v Preston would be in the playoffs irrespective of what others do…. If we drew v Leeds, then a draw v Preston would be sufficient as Coventry play Middlesbrough in the last match and only one could finish higher than Bristol City and due to goal differences for Millwall and Blackburn could not overtake us
