Must admit I'm undecided about Roberts, but I respect the fact that you've worked with him and therefore are best placed to comment on his ability.
Hopefully he'll come good.

He does seem a little bit like he feels he's too good to be here.
He certainly won't think he's too good to be with us, far from it. He's a good lad. He's not a goal scorer, as I've said before, he needs to work on his decision making to improve his game. This can lead to not only frustration from fans but also from team mates at times. His work rate is second to none and his enthusiasm can be contagious at times. He's a good player and wants to be involved in everything when sometimes he should hold his space. It was always a no brainer for me in signing him on loan as if it doesn't work out then he goes back to Leeds. We could have purchased that mysterious striker only for him to be a dud, whoever he is.

What striker should we have got in? That 20 goals a season guy willing to play for 10k a week that doesn't exist?
That's an easy out and you know it. Who were the 2 we said we were taking to on deadline day but ran out of time ? We obviously wanted to get 1 in and to run out of time when we've had 2 transfer windows to sort it out was just plain poor. Play the ****ing one we couldn't out in that case and who's wages were paying, I'd rather Bonne than Roberts.

That's good to hear and just goes to show how we can get the wrong impression of players.

I don't know, who were the two?
