I was just discussing with the boys, the Championship this year is piss poor, and where are we? In a strong Championship, we would be in the bottom third. Just then, Porteous was playing forward, Pedro, left-back. This is not the manager, it was the same under Bilić. Players need to take responsibility and do their job. Not having a go at RP, and I like JP’s industry, but FFS, JP must be in a danger area, and he must stay there - give the other players a chance to do their jobs. You can’t cross to yourself.
Given Luton's record of keeping clean sheets and us failing to score basically this was over from the moment once they scored? Sad times. Don't feel that cross or surprised really. Quite predictable actually. That is the sort of apathy that has set in I guess.
Really scrappy game. Both sides are way below PL standard, and I would fear for both of them if they got there.
Well I don't know why Luton got the free kick at the end when it was a blatant grab on Assombalonge, not that it matters. Hoofball did not work today, awful. Another season in the Championship it seems.
I wonder now if Gino will stop firing head coaches - after all, we don't appear to have improved once after sacking any of them. May as well not have one really, as the players don't seem to respond.
Wilder probably won't last the season at this rate. Trouble is so many of the current squad probably know they won't be here next season for whatever reason so don't have the motivation to perform as they ought.
