I'm guessing that someone is being a prick again.

Seriously if someone has tried to get another SAFC fan banned tonight then they should be banned for life themselves ffs

It just got a bit heated, which is usually the case when talking about politics. I hope he is back today, as its a massive day for the club so we shouldn't be all arguing amongst ourselves.

On the subject of the match I'm now getting nervous for the first time in these playoffs!

We aren't 'arguing amongst ourselves' mind, but he won't be back today :emoticon-0101-sadsm
There are always arguments on the Boris thread, but it's usually friendly . . . . not personal (with the 'odd' exception), and last night's now 'gone' so don't let it 'spill over' onto other threads :emoticon-0145-shake

I know that RTB's threads aren't very good, but it's all that we've got <whistle>

I think an important thing to remember here is that even if we're bloody awful tonight - it can happen, it's a young team - and we don't go through, this has still been a fantastic season all round. One we could never have realistically expected this time last year. These lads, the manager and everyone associated with the club should be very proud of how we've progressed.

Spot on.

Common sense and logic dictates that we shouldn't be here when you consider:
Just promoted via the play offs.
Youngest squad in the Championship, possibly the entire league.
Injuries to many key players leaving a severely depleted squad.
Inexperience of our players at this level, many thought we wouldn't cope.
Reality is that logic and common sense has no part in football.

Thanks again RTB fingers crossed you have one more championship thread to do. Thank you for your efforts so far they have been brilliant.
Very hard game but as has been said if we don't get the right result it's been one of the best seasons for many a long time. That's the slightly negative bit out of the way I think we can get the right result. On the train and on our way. Keep the faith lads and lasses.

Average age of the starting 11 on Saturday was 23.7 and the bench average was 21.6...thats ridiculous for a team just promoted and somehow pushing for the Premier League.

Just to put that into context, thats the same as the youngest average starting lineup in the Premier League so far this season (Leicester v Southampton).

Its also the 16th lowest average attendance in the Championship this season (also us - and we've fielded a younger team than that 11 times this season :emoticon-0100-smile)

I'm on a very boring virtual training course so that passed a bit of time.

I’m answering questions in the chat on a virtual course…. Have had no questions yet in the first 45 minutes!! Wonder if it’s the same course…

Pretty well my thoughts exactly. We might hit the wall, too many injuries, get assaulted out of the game and so on.

But, compared to last season, IMO there is almost no pressure at all.

I think a week is a tad oppressive if not vindictive?

Never lost a 2ng leg (8 games), and 3 previous times away 2nd leg got to Wembley Newcastle !, Portsmouth, and Sheff w. Shame about Pritchy and Roberts though, well will they defy again ? i go 1-1. funny i was more worried last week than this, but we don't have to win tonight luckily.

Man Utd league cup. Lost it 1-0 and 2-1 aet after winning at the SOL

I'm all three

Yep.

Nervous as its a massive opportunity way earlier than we anticipated and historical scars in my mind.
Calm as it's not the end of the world and it's been a fantastic season by the lads.
Confident as we usually perform better away from home and already have a 1 goal lead.
