Tend to agree. Speakman has a path mapped out for this club and will not waver I think TM is gone in the summer
I think our performance this half of season will have surprised all but Speakman won’t dodge from his “plan”. I guess time will tell if that’s proved right because it’s been nothing but rapid onward progress since he joined. he’s either a genius or thinks he’s a genius. I hope it’s the former!!!
To get out of league one fill the team with players good enough for championship. Get out of championship by filling team with premiership quality players. Same has to apply to the coaching team. Only way to stabilise and survive when you step up. TM is a good championship manager and has been unbelievable with kids but to follow the model you need a head coach capable of been successful in premiership. And the model would bring them in while still in the championship to bed in and get used to the English game (I’m assuming foreign based), Big TM may have just moved the plan forward a year and done himself out of a job.

Speakman has done very well so far, but this would be a huge risk. The fans expectation levels have been raised considerably. If a new guy comes in and fails to get us promoted, then getting rid of TM would be a huge stick for the fans to beat him with.
Truth about Italian coach being linked expected to replace him? I think we need to seriously look at why we get so many injuries. Can't be purely bad luck
Disappointed and Proud. Main positives - we should have enough players to be around the playoffs next year, and thank God we didn't struggle like tonight at Sheff Wed last year. We are in an infinitely better place.
it's the championship we always play crap and won't be anywhere the top 6 a year time with this lot in charge as bad as Short etc.
Yeah. People seem to get raged when you say we dropped it last night. We have done great to get there but the players themselves know they didn't perform when it mattered last night. Very very poor display in many areas.
