I'm pretty much a lurker, I'm on here all the time but don't always feel I can add much to the conversation. Ive supported Spurs since I was a kid but have only been to a handful of games. Im probably not a 'supporter' in the true sense as a result and don't want to make a fool.
Thanks totsfan! I've been a supporter since 1991, and have felt all thê joys and tears, and tears. It will be great to share the moments with people that understand thê emotions...
That's what it's all about. When we beat City and got into CL I turned to the missus with overwhelming joy and got a look like "so what?". At times like this you need to share the highs and lows with like minded people. No one on here will say it's only a game
my girlfriend had already gone to bed before the end of that city game. I was in a lot of trouble the next day after it transpired that my roar at the final whistle had awoken her and then my whistling of the CL theme tune hadn't helped in returning to sleep. Lol.
I got elbowed in the eye by my Uncle in the pub (who happens to be a former bodybuilding champion!) when the final whistle went as he jumped up raising his arms, needless to say I weren't too fussed about it at the time... The following day though - Bad times
I make a fool of myself regularly mate, I don't think anyone has ever agreed with me on here! Doesn't stop me posting though
Clever. So we now have to agree with you and make you not a fool or we have to disagree with you and make you right. I'll pass
Haha sorry Perryman, all in good spirit I'd actually love to go Australia though, a mate of mine got back recently from a 6 month trip from there, said it was the best 6 months of his life. The accent's pretty cool too! PLUS! Chris Lilley is an absolute legend!
Nobody should worry about posting unpopular opinions on here. I certainly don't and I can think of a few people who do nothing but that! We're often disagreeing with choices made by people with a far, far better working knowledge of the game than ourselves, so who's to say who's right? (The answer's me, by the way. I'm right)
of course your a supporter.....and well its good to have varied opinions..more the merrier i would say and Canary is right
I post here occasionally but lurk far more often - there does seem to be a bit of a "clique" of posters who seem to know each other over a long period and that can be a bit daunting to less regular posters.
I don't actually know any of the other posters on here, i just get stuck in and have noticed no cliquey-ness. Had the odd disagreement but nothing a kiss and a cuddle didn't sort.
