Dave Walton and Darren Moss spring to mind as players rather than returning managers.

I think a player returning to a previous club shouldn't be any different to any other new signing, with the possible exception that they will be viewed more favourably by fans. I don't expect miracles from Rogers but he is better than what we have, possibly barring Morgan.
 
I will be very happy to be proved wrong but I always thought Rodgers was over-rated. He had one very good season when he was very quick and was always being put through by superb balls from Jemson. After Jemson left and Rodgers lost a yard of pace after picking up a few injuries he was never the same player. His track record over the last few years is less than inspiring and I do not think he is a good enough passer of the ball to hack it in League 1. Lowe would have been much better as he brings strength in the box, which we have been sadly lacking since Collins left.

Well, what's the possibility of both returning?....slight, but would be fun! There is an interesting point raised above.....who will provide the pases for him to score?
