Well done Luke! That's quite an accolade. NE Sports Personality of the Year - not just footballer of the year.

One of the biggest things with O’Nien, constantly improving as a player.

First year I openly said ‘appreciate the attitude etc, but not a great player’ then I was ‘solid for the level’ now I am comfortable he could come up to Championship and be very tidy.

He was proper rated at Watford as a young lad. Finding his potential.

Exactly the kind of personality you want the badge on.

    well done luke lad...

scary thing is, the lad is nowhere near the finished article but from the moment he was slightly over enthusiastic at joining our club he endeared himself to the fans...struggled a wee bit at first as he tried so hard to please, settled into the team and started to play with a little more sense and less heart, always gives 100% and refuses to be pushed around on the pitch i think he is really finding his feet now.

Top lad is Luke....cannot fault his professionalism.
Got his head down, worked hard, and is now reaping the benefits.
Mr. Versatile, and one of the first names on the team sheet for me.

A model professional and a great example to youngsters of what you need to do to be successful. Thoroughly deserves this accolade.

The club shop would make a fortune if they could bottle and sell essence of Luke, gauranteed to cheer up the glumest of the glum.

His enthusiasm is infectious and what a bloody lovely lad too. Well deserved

Get a contract offer in for him too. A player and man we should be keeping at the club in the coming years

When was the last time we were also so aligned in praise for a player?

Been a good few years. M’Vila?

I remember the last time we got an unknown player from Watford.
    A defender turned striker ;) :)

Probably spot on. I haven’t found anyone (yet) who doesn’t rate the lad this season. Just kept improving as a footballer and is the type of player you want your kids to watch. Unbelievable attitude.

live also not, fir a long time, seen a player fir us who is so tough fir opponents to beat either on the ground or in the air
