You need to calm down. This need you have to try and put everyone down and go to extremes, is a sign of weakness, both personally and of your argument. I'm perfectly entitled to post an opinion, and this need of yours to go into negative hyperbole after all my posts, no matter how moderate they are, is really tiresome and immature.
Did you even watch the match? I am perfectly calm, also I am not that person gets into constant arguments on here, that would be you. Probably due to your condensing tone, and the ****e you spout on a constant basis.
My post that sent you into mouth-frothing insanity wasn't in the least bit condescending. On the contrary you setting yourself up as the ultimate authority for "Calling people out" is the most condescending crap out here. Because you think you are infallible and all-knowing, you think anyone who challenges your opinion is being condescending. And I get into arguments with you guys, because I refuse to put up with your attempts at intimidation. I support this team, and no slime-dwelling scum bucket like you is going to persuade me to take cheap-shots at them.
You know what, there is little point in aruguing with the imbecile that predicted that this season, Arsenal would comfortably win the title and that Chelsea would finish fifth. . You can carry on spouting that kinda of crap, because you are comedy gold. Oh and I take it that you did not watch the game from your answer. That would be typical, I suppose. Blind faith, I think it's called.
I pvred the game, and watched it later. I already said that those 3 didn't look good. I don't know what your problem is. It seems we have to have utter contempt for our team before you are happy.
I have utter contempt for any player that strolls around the pitch not giving a ****. And I think the performances of some of our senior players should make Wenger reconsider his approach to this cup. Play all the kids like we did before, because we performed better and for those kids, the league cup was a massive game and they busted a gut and it was great to watch them strut their stuff. In hindsight, the likes of Crowley, Zealam and Akpom should have played. Hopefully next year, they will.
I'm not one to unnecessarily slate our players, but have to agree with Sanj on this one. Podolski looked disinterested for most of that game and never really made any runs or pulled oppo players out of position to allow space for others. I hope it was a one off and he comes back hungry, but you have say that his performance and work rate were unacceptable on the night.
Lol. TT having a go at Sanj. Is there anyone on the board he hasn't had a go at now?! Mods, I hope he's been warned over the personal attacks on this page, again, which takes his total warnings up somewhere around the 600 mark. He really is a useless poster who adds nothing of value to any discussion. The board was a much better place when he'd disappeared after saying he'd never post again.
Back on topic, it seems to me that Pod was about to be sold in the summer transfer window but Giroud's injury put a stop to it. Our lack of depth both in forward and defensive areas was highlighted in the match against the Saints as both Campbell and Podolski together were about as much use as a chocolate sundial.
Might just be that he's lacking motivation after winning the world cup. Whatever it is I suspect he'll be off back to Cologne either in January or next summer
I actually thought Campbell was quite good when he had opportunities. He didn't get on the ball enough but when he did I thought he did well. He had a good first half in particular. Podolski and rosicky were the two who really let themselves and us down.
Yeah I made a thread about podolski and whether this would be his last year with us... It's looking so far like I was right with that one. I also said the same of rosicky so it'll be interesting to see how he fits into the team.
I thought Campbell wa sh*te! Out of interest, what do people think about Akpom? Never seen him do much but I do hear him getting good reviews. Anyone watched him enough to have a reasoned judgement?
I've watched him a fair bit in the reserves. He's big, strong and direct. His finishing has improved recently too. He's got all the raw attributes to make it as a classic target man up front, but it's a big step from the reserves to playing in the premier league.
