On a scale of 1-10 how bad are Chelsea at developing young talent. I'm gonna say 9 due to the fact they have hindered so many young players careers over the years. Promising individuals who have been attracted by Romans money and not the love of the game. Chelsea were the original mercenary club but even mercenaries can become a team after a few seasons together.

well tbh they may have mishandled their situation somewhat but they do possess several promising talents so nothing wrong with their scouting system but they tend to ruin their scouts good work but that may be partially due to them splashing a lot of cash. On another note should lukaku be up for sale do you think we should go in for him? I reckon wenger would do a good job on him.

I wouldn't mind having Lukaku as a backup to RVP. He could do some damage with Podolski and Walcott alongside him.

Chelsea are horrible at developing young talent, but look at Man City now. I don't know if I should feel for Adam Johnson because he's probably earning a ****load, but he hasn't done much to deserve sitting on a bench all season.
