Apparently his deal has gone from £35k to about £100k - which is quite ironic as FSG are keen to trim the wage bill. But it's good because it shows that FSG are willing to pay top dollar for those who are worth it ...
Not having a dig or wumming but it says everything about football nowadays that £35k per week is considered a little wage!
Rumours have it that Suarez was on a £40k per week contract when he joined. If that is true then I don't bre-grudge him getting a new deal just eighteen months into a five and a half year contract. Can't complain if the new deal is at the reported £120k per week, I thought he would be on about £100k anyway Agree with this. my comment above was in relation to salaries in football but the amount in relation to 'real life' is shockingly high. Least they have to pay 50% tax on anything over £50k a year (subject to the creative accounting)
