    no that wasnt my point, KPR was saying suarez was better than hernendez cause he scored more in the copa america, when hernendez wasnt even in it, this hasnt got nothing to do with mexico, its with those two players, one didnt participate, if the country was represented or not it doesnt matter

    It is a pretty big fail, you made out as if Mexico didn't participate in the tournament because they were from North America, which just isn't true. Had you said "That's a fail, Hernandez wasn't even called up to the Mexican squad" then yes, it would've been OK and a valid point, but you didn't.

    Mexico is in North America, Suarez adds a lot more to a team than Hernandez does but they both do their jobs well. Question is, will Hernandez be figured out this year?

    no i dont class it as a fail, cause i wasnt reffering to mexico i was reffering to hernandez, i dont honestly care what tournament mexico was in, more the fact that the original post was about suarez and hernandez. not mexico and uruguay, i was comparing two players not two countries.

    and he tried using the fact that suarez scored more goals in the copa america than hernendez as a stick to beat him with, which is pathetic

    The problem with statistics is that it is very limited within itself. Statistics will only give you data. You then need other non-mathematically based methods to turn that data into information so that you can formulate an opinion/conclusion. You can agree international standards about what constutues a goal or an assist and produce staistics based upon that but they do not reflect the style of play, the quality of the opposition, etc. This becomes even harder when you try and compare different leagues. If you want to rely upon statistics then stick to Footy Manager.

    Why the reference to Mexico being in North America at all then, and the Gold Cup, if countries aren't relevant and you were only talking about the players themselves?
