So did he make up an excuse? I still don't see the problem. He smashed a shot from what 2 yards maybe away from the keeper and it came flying off and hit his hand. People saying look at the arms why are they out there, he just shot the ball, arms are important for striking and are normally away from the body.

Instead of pointing at suarez it should be the prem officials who need to be getting some of the heat, especially the linesman who must have had a clear viewing of it.

Sort of, it was hardly a damning condemnation, which was the comparison I was making to the Neville incidents.

Whether it was intentional only he knows, it looked it when it happened, but the replays maybe cast doubt over that tbf.

He certainly looked like a man who knew the goal shouldn't when he put it in, but as you rightly say, it was the officials that were to blame for the goal standing not Suarez.

If the shoe had been on the other hand would it have been a handball?

The false 9 cutting in from the reverse wing position, crossing over with the 7 1/2, which fooled the keeper into taking the reverse position, which made Suarez the keeper & handball was therefore fine. :)

    Tweeted by BBC Journo..
"John Terry cleared a ball that was well over the line against Ukraine in Euros. Did not hear demands that he should have informed referee."

I didn't hear much outrage at the time? People love sticking the “racist” tag on Suarez but have no problem being Xenophobic, just because “one of ours” did that in the Euro’s, it makes it alright.. Anyone up for a spot of Hypocrisy?

Perhaps the real reason is this:

For the un-initiated it translates as "Your Tiny Hand Is Frozen" from Puccini's La Boheme
