Firstly, he scored 1 goal in the derby. Secondly, the seasons only 9 games in. Lastly, he scored 11 league goals in 31 outings last season, hardly prolific
Although your clearly being a tool here, I agree that h is not world class. As for your last comment, you are basing it all on the opinion that we have to sell to buy. What if we have some money to add players around Suarez? Do you not think we would see an improvement in Suarez's return in both scoring and assists...?
I wasn't being anything other than honest, it was my opinion nothing more. Maybe, maybe not, if you bring in another striker he'd have to play out wide in Rodgers current system. imo he'd be at his best as a support striker playing off a main forward, but that's not how Rodgers plays.
You know **** all if you genuinely think Suarez is anything close to as good a footballer as Beardsley was. But then we all know that you know **** all because ye are a moron!
Rodgers has been switching between 433 and 4231, why couldn't Suarez play in the hole...? Besides, Suarez's best position is on the right of a front three
Has he? I didn't realise that tbh. when I've seen you you've been playing 4-3-3, aside from the 2nd half in the derby when he went 3-5-2. Suarez best position would be in the hole imo, that's what I said mate. Wide right his best position? I don't watch him every week, so I'll have to bow to your better knowledge there.
Tosspig and liar You really know how to hurt someone don't you. I guess you're referring to the recent photos on here. I'll take the opinion of the girls, I think. Why don't you come and meet them in Manchester on the 17th. That is if you can afford the train fare from Croydon. Mind you, you'll still be half price won't you? You can sit outside the Bank with a bag of crisps and a coke
I've not seen much of him at RF, I'm going by the fact that that is where he played for Ajax and he plays there for Uruguay. His stats suggest it is his best position, he certainly isn't a striker
I'm banging my head against a brick wall here but the arguments against Suarez being good because although he scores almost as many as RVP he doesn't do it across a wide enough range of games to win enough of them is a red herring. Looking at Uniteds results so far; if I take away all goals not scored by RVP you don't win many of the games you have this season. Does this mean he's not contributing enough because you have to rely on others to make up the numbers. No of course not! So why should a higher burden be put on Suarez to single handedly win games? The failure to obtain 3 points often enough by LFC is because the rest of the team aren't doing for Suarez what RVP's team mates are doing for him: chipping in with the "other" match winning goal/s. I'm sure I could look at other teams and it would be the same. Why is this a problem at LFC; Imbalanced team due to one of our actual world class players being missing. A lot of young inexperienced attackers surrounding Suarez. Our other very good attacking midfielders shackled because of said missing DM. This line if criticism you lot are attempting to take us a thinly veiled excuse to yet again attack Suarez on footballing grounds when it has nothing at all to do with it. Does he miss a lot of chances? Yes, does he create more/enough chances that his personal conversion rate doesn't actually matter? Yes. We (LFC) need to concentrate more on those around him & ask why they are not scoring. When you look at it another quality DM is just as important as a complimentary attacker due to the imbalance it has caused.
I think it's almost certain Suarez would perform better and score more goals with better players around him. His record at Ajax proves that
I wasn't using that as an argument against him. As I said earlier, he's come on a long way since his first couple of seasons, and his goalscoring record is very impressive this year. I was just pointing out that for him to move up to the next level, he's going to have to do what players like RVP do - single handedly win games by getting crucial goals on a more regular basis, particularly when his team mates aren't firing. As he would have done against Everton were it not for a blind linesman. It's hardly a criticism of a 25 year old player to say he has room to improve! And let's be honest, he could miss as many chances as he wanted as long as he scored a winning goal in a good proportion of games.
Come and ask them on the 17th. They bought lunch last time. I'll be meeting them in The Bank on Mosley Strreet at c. 2 pm. Ask for directions from Piccadilly station. That's the main intercity station in Manchester. You can get a tram and get off at Mosley Street and it's about a two minute walk. That's probably easier for someone with limited intelligence. Someone will get your tram ticket for you at Picc - the machines may prove a little tricky for you. Open invitation for any of your lot who live anywhere near
