Thats all we've had for 10-years and nobody has been willing to roll their sleeves up and sort this club out. Everyone stayed away because of Bates and people are still staying away because of the underlying debt that Bates left behind him after his rape and pillage of the club. Leeds utd is the last great investment opportunity in football and we all know that, but why has nobody dived in? We all know that too and today showed that we were are as close to administration again as we're ever likely to be and liquidation is never far behind. This italian has shown the shrewd balls of someone who's either stupid or an intelligent businessman who sees the outrun at the end of the game. i applaud this guy for his cojones and belief in our club and everyone on this board should realise how fooking lucky we are and how close we came to the brink and just because of chancers and tyre kickers. Give the twat a chance and then kick off if he fails to deliver, he is willing to spend up to £100m to put this fantastic club back together when nobody else would

Well, I have read loads of comments on our new owner and remain undecided on his motives. I must beleive that his intention is to succeed and to take the club into the Prem ASAP. That is where he will make his reputaion and lots of money. So if that is his intention we must all fall in and support all the efforts he makes to that aim.

The rest of this season can only be an assessment of the club as it exists, and to bring in what is needed to achieve promotion next season. This will not be easy as there are at least 10 clubs with backing and support that also want the same outcome.

We can only wait and see what develops in the coming months.

 

I don't think we are anywhere near to administration or winding up as anyone thinks. But it's a good story for new owners to put out to get people on their side.

GFH have been pretty damned good at getting third parties to pay this, that or the other. That doesn't mean they couldn't do it - maybe they just found some mug to do it for them, pleading poverty, saying it would be a show of intent that these people were serious about a takeover bid.

I'm not saying they are loaded. But if they were really in the ****, and we were really a white elephant sucking money away, they would have completely offloaded us to get us off the books.

No, they've chosen to maintain 25%, and will be liable for 25% of any investment and 25% of any losses, as well as 25% of any profits. And no need to bring out the limited liability stuff - that's only after you've been bankrolling an organisations and you have decided you can't do it anymore.

For some reason this is a good story for them to keep on going - if push had come to shove and they had no other mugs to pay off their debts, they would have covered it themselves.

 

How? GFHC didn't have any piss, never mind a pot to put it in.

 

In exactly the same way they bought the company, and still have a stock-market listed organisation behind them, based in Dubai.

The rest is all hearsay, at the moment.

This group that allegedly has nothing left has a 25% stake, and will need to contribute to 25% of all investment, and bankroll 25% of all losses, or they need to offload. If they don;t do it, Cellino will just take their 25% as their payment for him covering everything. Simple business economics - they aint daft this lot, and I don;t believe they are as skint as people are making out

 

Cellino has an option to buy their 25%. If we don't go up next year gfhc will sell that 25% so cheaply that we could buy it if it wasn't for Cellinos option.

 

That might not be a bad idea actually!

But it will almost certainly be Cellinos if by then he's bought everything else back for the club.

All of it is opinion, my opinion, and none of it has been claimed as fact, at all. It is clearly all speculation. And I never claimed it to be anything other.
