I read his post match interview. It was consistent with previous ones. Recognises we are weak defending set pieces. Points out our best 3 headers of the ball (not sure I agree re Berardi) and first choice centre backs were missing. Points out it takes us more chances to score than the opposition. In the past he has also pointed out that despite that we have one of the best defensive records in the league.

So, as a Leeds fan you can:
    A) work yourself up into a lather about how shambolic we are defensively and that our strikers are inefficient and our goal keeper useless.
    B) rejoice that we are top of the league and recognise that our style of play where we pick ball players over grunts means:
    - we have to break down packed defences reducing our efficiency in front of goal.
    - when we make mistakes the chances we cough up are going to be good ones
    - our dwarves aren’t suited to an airial bombardment.
    - a footballing keeper is preferred to a ‘safe pair of hands’

The coach sees the weaknesses as an acceptable risk for the style of play... the league table agrees with him... and regardless he doesn’t look the type to change his philosophy.

He was home sick for the championship, and didn't want to wait the 5 months for the rest of his team mates,Sheffield already have 2 better than Nadine and as you know, while your team did well together, most of your team have already failed with championship clubs don't see him doing much at Sheffield.

Isn't that a good reason to stop paying for failure, it should be written in the players contracts if you're part of the team that gets relegated, your over inflated wages will reflect that and be reduced to championship wages, the greedy ****s may work a bit harder then

Think a problem with reducing wages,is it gives them a right to leave on a free.

Couldn't agree more. The rise of "player power" (a la Man U recently) is as reprehensible as the obscenity that is the Premeir League funding system.

Apart from that, I enjoy football, both the game and talking about it despite the ****s involved. <ok>

(present company excepted of course <laugh>)

Then i await the enlightenment that approaches well the friday night floodlights anyway.
Strange you think inside bielsas mind and know what he truly believes. It is well known his humility and management skills are second to none. So no one on here knows what he thinks about his squad. He is too wiley an old fox to dampen the spirits of any of the players.
Lets see what happens on friday and see if harrison starts on the wing. I dont beleive he had much choice at qpr than play him at nine. I think the only one he wanted to look at was roberts at ten. Cooper may make the bench and ayling alongside pontus.
Maybe we will beat derby i hope so cant stand lampard. Oh and do you think i hope we fail due to lack of funding. I want autos and we could slip away very quickly.

To be fair, their players aren't of premier quality, that's why they are in the championship with us (and below us currently) <ok>

Nothing i’ve said there that he hasn’t either said directly or alluded to in one or more of his interviews.

What he truly thinks of the capabilities of his squad, or individuals within it, i have no idea, but his philosophy he’s pretty open about.

I’d like to see the squad strengthened in key areas too. Genuinely, though i’m Not concerned by the losses because we played decent football, I’ll start to worry if and when people start outplaying us
