We look so nervous every time they attack. Could go either way in the second half

 

Well that was a crazy half of football. Great that we've got ourselves back in it, but some of our defending has been suicidal. We look as soft as **** on crosses and set pieces. Need to sort that out ****ing sharp for Sunday, otherwise the Spuds will just load balls into our box.

 

Well that was terrible IMO.

We looked like we were going to concede whenever they attacked.

On the plus side, we have too much going forward for their defence to handle so should still win this game.

 

That was a "wtf!" half of football..

I thought they were lucky to get the free kick which lead to the first goal as the ball was blasted at Sanchez (? - can't remember exactly who it was) hand, most of the time I don't think that gets given. But the defending when they launch the ball into the box is so nervous!

Whenever they switch the ball from the right over to the left they are in loads of space and have players willing to take on Gibbs and get the cross in. We need to be quicker manoeuvring our defensive shape across the field and be prepared for the cross field pass.

Just like at the start of the other game I'm impressed by the way Ludogorets pass the ball quickly and accurately and they look a danger on the counter. But at the back they still look suspect. The problem is, whilst we are capable of hurting them going forwards we are also looking suspect at the back today. If we can be more dominant in the air in the second half, close the space quicker and give Gibbs some more cover we should be able to gain some control over the game.

El Neny is probably a good option to help control there counter attacking and I think we may see him at some point.

 

I think it's likely both Ramsey and Giroud will come off before the end of the game due to fitness with Oxocube and Iwobi coming on to replace them, Sanchez going through the middle.

El Neny to come on if we get into a winning position, possibly to give Ozil a rest, otherwise for one of the previous two.
