I'd rather someone left the forum because it was dull, uninteresting, or just no longer appealed to them. Leaving under these circumstances is just wrong.

His life will have genuinely changed a lot because before today not606 was such a huge part of it.

Well, reading that back... he told you to "stop taking the moral high ground" and "get a life", not exactly soul destroying insults... the sort that are thrown around every day on this site. Not getting all that "personal" at all really.

Your reply was one of the most offensive and harsh posts that I've ever seen on this site to be honest.

Surely you can see how you completely took it too far?

Nope sorry, cant see it, all I can see is quotes from him dishing it out, and then him not being able to handle it when I dished it back to him.

If we want to get all sensitive about it, he wanted to meet me for a punch up. Should I call the police?

God, I actually used to think that you were one of the better posters on this site, but you've just shown yourself to be an arrogant little bully.
 
I think people need to calm down.

The Tash vs TWD argument was handbags at best. TWD gave it the most but Tash has given out far more than that himself in the past.

For whatever reason Tash has taken it too personally and lost it. Hopefully he'll calm down in a day or two and come back to us.

Let's not increase the casualty list by keeping it going.

I haven't been on here long so I don't really know what he's said in the past but seems to me like he's reached his threshold for how much abuse and constant piss taking he can tolerate. Hope it's water under the bridge and he comes back on but wouldn't blame him if he didn't, why should he have to take that amount of **** off people that he doesn't even know.

I think the reason is pretty obvious to be honest. If his reaction was the same as mine when he first read it, and not one person stuck up for him, I would be thinking "bugger them" and I would leave as well.

People have been having medicore arguments and everyone else is playing Mrs fanny anny. If people are getting upset about abuse on a forum then they need to get hard fast because deaths what you have to prepare for in this world. If the can't handle a little abuse they won't handle a heart attack, terminal disease or violent death very well at all.

Like I said. Tash has given out far worse himself in the past so it seems strange that he has suddenly become a wallflower. Maybe as TMG suggests he has reached his limit or maybe something is bugging him in his personal life.

I don't have the answers as to why i'm just suggesting that we don't make this into a bigger issue with more people offended.
