£5m fee and a few years on £25-30k a week is a bigger splash than I expect us to make.

What, you think Becchio would sign a six month contract?? So, if we sign him on stupidmoneyaweek and then don't make it to the PL how do you propose that we'd pay his remaining three years of his contract?

The point is he really isnt that good. Spending anything over £2m and £25k a week is too much for him whether we can afford it or not.

No, I think there would be a fee involved in the 2-3m region. Which if the most recent deals are anyhting to go by would come from the summer transfer budget.

I don't actually think we're in for him, but we could be surprised.

Whoever gets him is going to have to deal with Bates, who will make it as difficult as possible to extract him from Leeds. I'd hate to be the one to have to negotiate.

Wait. How many leeds fans came on here and told us that Becchio would never leave Leeds no matter what? To funny.

To be fair, there's a great deal of sarcasm in those posts.

No. Bates hates Leeds. He would probably see the funny side of selling Becchio to City for around 2 quid.

Becchios only on 10k per week now will probs only want 15k and £3million will probably get you him although hes no better than that big lump you bought.

Technically becchios awful but nobody will work harder and he scores goals

If I was a betting man, I'd have my money on him being at Norwich by the middle of next week, for somewhere between £3-5m and he'll probably get the £25k he's rumoured to be after.

Has that come from a source, or is it just that Norwich seem to take all of Leeds better players recently?

Oh yes he is. 18 goals for a sack of **** side like leeds says it all. Without him TWS could be fighting relegation now. And will struggle 2nd half of season.

Worth a cheeky bid if he was cheap, but it sounds like he's the complete opposite.

    No, no, and no.

Yeah. I got negative rep from ellandback and farsleyexile for a bit of banter. I think it must be rag week in Leeds.

I can't remember where I saw it, but there was an article somewhere about Hughton considering a bid for him, though I think his No.1 target is Sporting Kansas City striker Kei Kamara.

Factor in the buying of their decent players recently and I'd say it was nailed on. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Becchio to Norwich, Mozza to City.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Final piece in the jigsaw........ Ryan Tunnicliffe.
