Exactly. If we need to rush him back for Saints at home then we might as well take all our other midfielders out and shoot them. Sent from the bog.
I can't actually remember how good Lucas was, been so long since I saw him play. Really hoping he's as good as we like to think, even if it's on the return from injury. Kinda basing our season turning around on him...we're ****ed if he's not the player he was.
He's an animal, he'll have no worries fitting straight back in! I honestly think Lucas coming back will send a load of confidence through the team
I hope we don't rush him, as bad as we need him. I hope he can also find the form he had before the injury.
Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has thanked the club's fans for their support during his absence due to a thigh injury. The Brazilian, who also missed a large part of last season with a knee problem, is set to return to first-team action after a three-month lay-off in Saturday's home game against Southampton. He told the club's official website: "Ever since my first injury, the fans have been very important to me. "When you don't play, you think that people might forget about you but I think it has been completely the opposite. "People send me nice messages and they say that they really miss me. So this has given me the confidence to come back. "The players, on a daily basis, have really supported me. I remember when Luis scored and he had a message for me on his shirt. These are the small things that really mean a lot and they keep you going. Now it's the time for me to repay that and help them. "Brendan Rodgers has been very good to me since my first day. When he arrived I was just recovering from the knee injury, so he gave me a lot of confidence and was always very clear about his plans for me. "He has tried to keep me very calm and not tried to rush me, in terms of my rehabilitation."
We simply must stop conceeding goals through such easy sloppy means so if he and allen can partner up and solidify things great. we're in BAD shape at this point. looking at a much worse season than last despite suarez doing all he can and its all down to no goals from anyone else and not being able to hold that clean sheet Sent from my valium riddled brain via a combination of skype and using my fillings as a trasmitter..
Lucas is our saviour. Our midfield without him as the rock is a shambles. Hoping with the security of Lucas there then Allen and Sahin can have a good stab at lighting up the team
Now let's see if Allen can actually do something with the ball, other than a safe 10 yard pass... Sent from my work computer, as they don't block this site....yet
