Ya really unimpressed with his attitude as I had a lot of time for him as a player. Ah well, got Coutinho so blessing in disguise.
Totally agree. Whilst he was with us I saw nothing to suggest that Sahin would have been any good as a DM. He wasn't fast and he wasn't strong.
Joe Cole also had to change. "When I first came to Liverpool, Stevie compared me to Messi. It was daunting how utterly awesome I was. I could score a goal from one goal line to the other aiming at a target no bigger than Ashley Cole's mobile phone. Then I remembered I wasn't passionate about the club like Lucas Leiva... I'm only half the man Lucas is, so I gave up some of my attacking skill and decided to be more like Titus Bramble with the constitution of Michael Owen. It worked, I was fantastically ****e and appeared in almost no games earning myself a transfer to the worlds real largest club West Ham. Unfortunately I forgot to stop playing ****e here too!"
100% agree. Johnson playing left back, Kelly and Wisdom playing right back, Enrique playing left mid etc etc......imagine if they'd moaned about it and just not made an effort. Sahin is undoubtedly a very good player but it doesn't matter how good a player is if he won't apply himself totally to the cause. A shame but I won't shed any tears over him. Plus it's given Hendo more game time which he's earned.
