I’m still a bit undecided about Camara.

Is he our worst ever signing or the second worst after Chuks ?

Now that the season is over, it’s time to make a decision, so based on my previously posted stats on ‘ Pan’ I’m calling it - he is our worst.

He's got strong competition. Coco the Clown, Peter Parsley, Martin Christensen, Hasselbaink, Big Mak, Florini, Anil Kock, Christophe LePoint, Charlie Kirk who was expensive, and not forgetting the millions wasted by Dowie which started our decline. Then pardew's army of non-scoring strikers, and various duds who barely featured over the years.

I wouldn't call Aneke or Camara our worst ever signings. Penguins list is much worse. Peter Parsley cost £750000. He came on once as a sub. I believe Christensen cost £350000 and never played for us. At least Aneke played and scored some vital goals for us. Camara is a decent player but another made of glass.

I watched Hull v Ipswich on Sky last night.

Ipswich , incredibly, are on the brink of the Premier league.

They are a team that is full of vibrant , fit & energetic young athletes.

You can see why they loaned us Camara & Ladapo :cheesy:

Amdy Faye, Omar Pouso, the left back from Ipswich whose name escapes me. El Khalej, Traore, Gordon Riddick,
    Thuram, Billy Landsdowne,

Chuks is a nice guy and was a very good player.
    But he's a crock. And CAFC isn't a charity.

Neither should it become an old folks home for over the hill players.

I recently saw a clip of Chuks a few years ago. He was remarkably slim compared to now. Curbs said a month or so ago that we should change our mindset on him and make him start a game. Certainly when he's been used as an impact sub recently he hasn't made an impact, and he's not been much more use than he would be in the treatment room. Like it or not we've got him for another season, so treat him like any other player I say.

Unfortunately I think if Jones does that, Chuks will break down again.

So do we wrap him in cotton wool and maybe get 7 or 8 twenty minute cameos out of him (plus a goal or two) between injuries,
Or start him a couple of times and not see hide nor hair of him for the next three months.
    :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I know it must have been tough for him being injured for so long,
but it's not good to hear he is probably overweight.
Will he get into shape again over the Summer? We can but hope.

If he's overweight now, coming back from the summer break he'll be looking like @Charles Xg Hawtrey

Wasn’t trying to say that Camara and Chuks are the worst players we have ever signed, just the worst signings.

In other words, two players that we shouldn’t have gone anywhere near. Both were known crocks before they came to us (or back to us in Chuks case) and anyone with a brain could see that Camara was likely to break down again (and again) and was never going to be the player he once was. Exactly the same for Chuks, but at least he did score a few goals in his cameo’s. Camara has contributed absolutely nothing and we knew he wouldn’t. What sort of f*cking idiot signs a player like him without first seeing what he’s like after his major surgery.
