Hulse hit the jackpot when he signed for us. How many starts did he have since arriving? Only played once or twice last season but I bet he is on a decent scratch. Wanting to stay with a club that pays your wages but expects nothing from you isn't what I call loyalty, he's doing his job. If the manager picks him every week then he plays, if all that is expected of him is to make the numbers up in training then that is also what he gets his wages for.

It's up to the manager who he wants in the squad and in the team, sooner or later Sparky has to decide who he lets go as we are top heavy in the striker department. Most of those surplus to requirements are not guaranteed Premiership football and the status that come with it should they leave QPR and they will know that should they be transfered there will be a drop in wages.

Hulse, Smith, Bothroyd, Campbell and HH are only ever going to be support players in the current team, some may want to leave to get regular football and others may want to stay as they are content with the part they are being asked to play. It would not surprise me if a marquee name striker is sorted out in the end of transfer window bundle which would certainly mean the door being shown to any of the above.

I supported QPR when Mark Hately only scored once in a blue moon, I supported QPR when Adel was having a field day in the promotion season and I will continue to support QPR whoever stays or goes this summer. The true meaning of loyalty lies with us, the most loyal fans of all!!!

There is no loyalty in football, less so than most businesses these days.
One's that spring to mind, Paul Ince pictured with a Man Utd shirt while still a West Ham player, Louis Saha refusing to play for Fulham because he wanted to sign for Man Utd, even a player we are coveting, Chris Samba refusing to play for Blackburn. All of these players had willingly signed lucrative contracts, but just decided they didn't want to honour them. So what is the point of a contract? They are largely not worth the paper they're printed on.
Getting back to Rob Hulse, I suspect he wants to honour his contract because it suits him!
