Never liked the loyalty system ..always held the view it should be first come first served. This is my 49 th season and I'm no more loyal than somebody say in their 5th. All such systems get abused .

That's not exactly true. Me and my son had 3 points 4 years ago and now the both of us have over 80.
Go to games and you get points. We acquired points fron the pizza cup, league cup and fa cup games. Quite a lot of our games have gone to general sale this year. People only seem to complain when they can't get to the popular games.

Do you mean buy tickets for home games?

So, do you get loyalty points for buying tickets for home games on a game by game basis?

This all day, some forget this part, therexwas load of easy home points to collect couple seasons ago

plus mate i went with last night, him & his lad are on 3 points (i think ish) they got tickets last night via normal sale route just had to be quick, wasnt sure if hecwas gunna get but managed & made part of his lads xmas box....so it is possible....prob is we have high demand & (good thing) way were headed...this will grow massively beyond supply....practically impossible to have a perfect system

like those who have said cup home games not league, club make aware before sale

however...some were buying home cup tickets then just not going...sone games were fiver so thought cracking point purchase...club stopped that & ticket needs to be activated at turnstyle for game or you dont get the point

Aye, the club nipped that one pretty quickly about having to actually use the ticket to get the point.

You just use your own ticket to buy an away ticket when the relevant points band becomes available that you are in. Again, use your own ticket to purchase home cup tickets to accumulate points.

Does your points
cancel after the season is over
If not people should have points going back to
Shall we say the 70s

I’m thinking maybe a new system needs introducing
However people with points would have to start again
Just like us supporters who travelled in the 70s 80s 90s and so forth
I’m apparently not loyal supporter

Points system hasn't been going since back then. When it first started it was a 3 year rolling total but now they haven't been wiped for a good few years. Not sure exactly when but there will be loads on well over 100 points.

They are on about changing it, to what I've no idea. Years ago there was talk of away season cards for exiles, keeping a few away tickets back for the away card holders, suggestions of points awarded for spend in the club shop etc.

Them people should get first choice for tickets it’s the new generation there after
I’ve had my time of away matches
However I can’t go when I want now cause I have no points
Nevertheless I still get tickets of someone else’s card for the the less popular games
My card with no points will not get me a popular away game ticket
That’s just the way it is
My history for the club means nowt I’m ok with that

They probably never kept any accurate records of people buying tickets like they do now. If they did, I very much doubt anyone has transferred them onto an electronic database to have an accurate history of the last 50 years of ticket sales.

The biggest issue is the fact that no one has had loyalty points removed as per previous seasons. I used to have over 100 points but lost them all as I stopped going to away games when my children were
