Unfortunately there are no maths to do in your argument. If you think that the only players that make it are the best players then you are living in some place far removed from reality.
Lee I am guessing you don't know how football works from kids signing schoolboy forms then getting a pro contract (or not), dropping down divisions, to semi pro level. There are many reasons why a player won't make it pro, sometimes ability has nothing to do with it If you don't know or understand this then that is not my problem. I know far too many players who played for amateur teams who got pro contracts ... and they weren't even the best players in those teams.
