Those robes and hats sure are strangely expensive, aren't they?

That's how much mine cost too. And mum insisted that we got photographs too, which adds obscene amounts of money to it. And of course on top of that, I have to pay for flights, accommodation etc... better be worth it.

Yeah, I got photographs. They're still in a drawer at home. Great investment. All that money to sit quietly in a cathedral for three hours listening to name after name being called out, and enough time for one pint and a lot of walking in the rain.

Tomorrow's supposed to be the warmest day of the year, isn't it?

Dunno. I highly doubt you'll be getting rained on like I did. My ceremony was in September. You might have the opposite problem: boiling hot in a suit and robe.

If any of you are London based and fancy it, Fable is playing a free show/industry showcase on Sept 10th at The Workshop in Hoxton.

Sweet! What kind of a job?

I'm loving how relaxed it's been at the office during this hot weather. I've again taken the liberty of extending my lunch by 20 minutes to sit outside with an awesome baguette from the deli and some chunky chips. Went for maple cured ham in my baguette and got the end piece, which is by far the best bit. Work is okay sometimes.

Also in a sort of reverse situation of how I encountered the mysterious Selina, I have opened the PO log to find that someone called Melanie is already in there. Do I track her down?

My graduation is next week, I'm obviously not bothering. Went to the wife's last year at Pompey Uni, that's good enough.

You be there LTL? I may just try and get some meetings around that. If I go, will that make me hip? Can I wear my 80s leg warmers?

From how it is described, it sounds like a junior project manager type job. The recruitment guy I've been in contact with may be trying to sort out some kind of meeting while I'm over in England for graduation.

Oh you should go, you may regret it if you don't and it's possibly one of the last times you all will be together as a class. Plus, it's a great way to celebrate and commemorate the last three years: all the highs and lows, the successes, all the last-minute essays, the union nights, the random and surreal events that no doubt happened, the alnighters, the summer balls, etc

    And glasses.
    Most importantly, the ironic hat.
    Here's a guide.

In fairness, would be a terrible time to meet me as I'll be running about in a panic more than likely......
