What are your thoughts on Pardew guys?

 

He's ok so far I guess. Seems like a genuine bloke, likes to hear his own voice a little too much sometimes but we can't really judge him until next season. I reckon most Toon fans would say the same.

 

He's done a good job so far, selling Carroll hasn't helped, and neither have the injuries, but we've played better than the results suggest. He has my backing.

I thought this article was new, and was about to make the point that if Lovenkrands starts, Barton has to play in the middle, then saw I'd already made it.

I stand by that though, he thrives off through balls and Barton is the only one with the vision, creativity and execution to give him that.
