Shane at Anfield I can still hear it. Best atmosphere I remember was 4-0 vs Spurs, FA Cup. Only about 24,000 there. The best atmosphere's have often been with the ground only 2/3 full.
^^^This Totally forgot about that one. I wasn't one of those grown up fans that cried, but very close. MLT, Pure, Pure Genius.
I reckon it could be the last day of this season when we hear West Ham have let ina late goal, making our 6-0 loss to City irrelevant, we’re staying up on GD
At SMS...Probably Billy Sharps goal to put us 2-1 up in the last minute...I'll forget about what happened after Away games...Probably Long at Anfield just ahead of Gabb's second at Wembley Biggest I've experiences was Brady's late winner against Italy just shading it from McClean's in Wales
I wondered who was doing that. Back on topic, the 2-2 draw with Pompey was the loudest I can remember. The stadium was actually moving after that second goal. (ours that is)
Me too. From memory it was reasonably early in his Saints Career ? As he stood up to take it, I remember saying to my mate "Oh no, we've got Rodney Trotter taking a penalty"
That cheer! (ignore the swearing and just listen to the cheer!) How I miss those days when I enjoyed going to St Mary's
That day my wife had her friend and family down. They had two young daughters approx 2 and 4 at the time..... I believe they are still receiving treatment for the fear they suffered that day in my lounge... Oops
It was this season, I think against Newcastle. Ball floated into the box and forster caught it. Morons
That’s Pahars one is a good shout actually, didn't think of that. Really put the game to bed and hadn't he just returned from injury.
