The way Allison talked about the stepped nose implied it's an obvious decision to keep it, which doesn't bode well for the other cars. At least we know Williams won't have it, and possibly Ferrari too but Marca aren't the most reliable source.

If most teams retain stepped noses I suggest we start a petition to have BBC and Sky pixelate them.

That is very very, weird looking. Looks like the Batmobile <ok>

They say they still haven't got the PDRS working <laugh>

Whoever unlocks that little nugget will win the WDC.

Can't believe it's already the time of year when the cars are unveiled and those sidepod entrances have incredible detailing on them. Can't wait to see the others now!

Still a fair few guests around on various threads, maybe we need a 'welcome guests' thread, say hello kind of thing :)

On the Lotus, got to say I dont like the red at all, but as a machine it look like its fast (which is a start).

No under nose turning vanes & old front wing, so the front end detail is clearly being hidden

Stepped nose still a feature to save weight, pushrod front suspension retained too

Gotta love the #imsexyandiknowit just underneath the 'KIMI'.

Must say other than the stepped nose, I really like it. The front wing looks interesting, as does the exhaust layout.

Roll on Thursday now, this has certainly gor the juices flowing!

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Feels like F1 is getting close now the cars are coming out :D

Scarbs reckoned the CGI version was more likely closer to the real version that the physical one we saw on Sky.

The air intake on the CGI one certainly looks a lot more complicated.
