Romain Grosjean has dropped a big hint about Lotus' 2013 plans, revealing the new Enstone-built single seater will be launched late this month. Speaking to the French sports news programme Stade 2, the Frenchman also revealed that he and continuing Lotus teammate Kimi Raikkonen will equally share the twelve days of pre-season testing in February.

"The next few weeks for me will be intense training, with the presentation of the new car at the end of the month," said Grosjean. "Then I will have six days of testing in February and then finally the beginning of the season in March," he added.

So Lotus may be first car launched
 
Honeywell or Burn will be the title sponsor I think, Burn Lotus F1 Team sounds better IMO. <ok>

Hopefully the extra money will put them up there even more this season.

EDIT - On research actually the Honeywell deal looks like it will be the title sponsor.

I am quite confident for Lotus this year. I can even see Grosjean getting a win. <ok>
 
I'll be keeping a close eye on Romain at Turn 1 of the Aussie GP. <laugh>

I can't help but think he is under huge pressure next season. Then we shall see the kind of driver he is.

If he gets past turn 1 then I think he is quite a good driver. See Valencia for instance.
 
Lotus to unveil 2013 F1 car via YouTube channel on 28 January

Lotus has chosen to launch its 2013 Formula 1 car, the E21, online.

The new car will be unveiled via the Lotus YouTube channel at 19.15 UK time on Monday January 28.

The event will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports News HD in the UK.

Lotus's choice of date means it will be the first F1 team to take the wraps off a 2013 car, as its unveiling takes place three days before McLaren's.

The team has retained Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean for this season after taking a big step forward in performance during 2012.

The lotus car launch is 1 week before the first test but I bet a running car wont be ready till near the date.
