Liverpool are readying a summer swoop for Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan, according to a Spanish newspaper report. The Turkey international was linked with Brendan Rodgers' team - as well as Arsenal and Bayern Munich - during the January transfer window, however a switch failed to materialise. But now Spanish publication AS claims the Reds will bid £19million for 26-year-old Turan, who joined Atletico from Galatasary in 2011. And the player's agent, Ahmet Bulut, says his client will definitely be on the move in the close-season. Bulut said: 'Arda has played at Atletico Madrid for two seasons now. I have wanted to see him play for another team in another league and Arda wants the same. 'I can't say the league or you'll know exactly who I'm talking about but let's just put it like this, there are only five to six clubs which could afford Arda right now and he's going to join one of these five clubs.' I miss Nabil being in our youth setup. He was like Harry Potter... young and promising when he first signed up... by the time he left we were all left scratching our chins wondering "who is this creepy old fart hanging out with all the kids?"
Turan would be unreal. We need a player to link the midfield to the attack - Gerrard is playing deeper, Shelvey is too inconsistent and Suso still needs to work on end product. Would love the rumours of Eriksen or a player in his role.
