wasn't all of those in the weekend paper and such.. its all just speculation as i could make that list up form previous stuff. reina = long since linked skertl = recently dropped enrique was dropped at the start of the year Downing= obvious and was out henderosn = was dropped earlier Squarez = world class and obvious. now what suprises me is nobody put mouthy shelvey on the list cos any insider would have added him.... it'd spice up the list with someone NEW and also you could put a falling out in which always titillates.
I just read a piece on players that could be available for free transfers in the summer. They all seem to be at the later end of there careers but could add valuable experience and influence on a short contract. Brede Hangleand is yet to sign a contract at Fulham. A strong, physical center back who is great with set piece. But he maybe does not fit our system. I'd rather have Kelly play CB. Another is Javier Saviola, who has had a big career with many big clubs. Apparently he has refound his form a bit this season at Malaga. We could do with another goal scorer and another striker option. We could also do with experience in the front three. This could be like the Bellamy signing. He is 31.
Why are the Spuds so obsessed with us? Mancs, toffs, and for a while Chelsea, were our rivals... for emotional rivalry. Competatively we arnt rivals. Usually we are in the top 4 and Spurs have no hope... last few years they've gone through a temporary improvement and we've dropped off. Spuds haven't been direct rivals in donkey years. I don't understand the obsession. I can see why Swansea are miffed at us... don't understand the Spuds...
