He promised to convert the debt to shares. So why hasn't he done so. Sounds like he's keeping his options open. The club will be sunk if he leaves and wants his money back. He'll sell enough players to raise the money and that will be it. Next stop - Conference.
If Cardiff go tits up and get relegated we should buy Caulker as a priority and have a cheeky bid at Noone.
"If we remain in the Premier League, debt will not exist and profit will begin to accumulate which means better players, better football and so on." So what if they dont remain in the PL...?
It will all come out in a wash at the end of this season, if Cardiff go down, they will benefit from over £64 Million in Parachut payement, surely not even they could blow that lot, in getting back up? Hmmmmmmm...............
"We inherited a lot of debt and are in the process of paying off a lot of that debt," he told BBC Radio Wales Sport. Mr Dalman said Malaysian billionaire owner Mr Tan had put up to £150m into the club since 2010. He has? I'm not a financial expert but I'd believe it if they weren't over 100 million in debt, not even Cornelius was that expensive. Maybe they pay Kevin McNaughton 1 million a week? Yours truly, the VT PR machine.
It wont be all that bad if cardiff were to get relegated and Tan does bugger off, They will survive and maybe get back to being cardiff city again, My only concern if i was them is that Sam the man would take charge again and that would not be any better than mad tan...They sold their soul and now they are in a predicament but i still would not want tan anywhere near my club....
