The new FIFA Financial rules will achieve exactly the opposite that FIFA are claiming. ONLY the big clubs will benefit, all the small ones will get smaller. Rule 1. You cannot legislate to make everyone equal.
Yeah stopping the clubs backed by outside wealth spending billions will destroy all competition. Look at Spurs, some smart buys and fending off interest in their best players and their looking to finish in the top 4 for the second time in a few seasons. A lesson in how a club can break into the top without spending 400 mil a year. Or at the other end Norwich and Swansea both just come up, both doing well and deserving to stay up over established PL regulars. The only teams who will get smaller are those who have been artificially inflated above their stature by outside money.
