This happened to me today, This bloke was going on etc at my boss, He was looking for an argument, I bit, I knew I shouldn’t of, But this has been building for weeks, I shouted at him and told him to go get his cap, He annoys me, When he sulks, He’s like a child who doesn’t like getting his own way, It pisses me off to be honest.

Yeah I didn't get that bit either?

I've been known to lose my temper at work, not today though. Way too hungover for that and I rocked up over an hour late as it is <laugh>

My current job requires me to deal with some very irate members of the public, and the problem with Joe Public is, he's a massive ****. And the ****iest among them know that if I talk to them like they talk to me, I could be out of a job; so I have perfected the technique of murdering them with politeness.

Eg. "Thank you very much for your helpful observations, I will be sure to pass them on in the usual manner. And please feel free to write to your MP, the Ombudsmen, the Queen and , if it makes you feel better, the Pope...
...yes, same to you sir. Have a lovely day."

  17. My "customers" are happy to scream abuse knowing it won't ever be reciprocated. We've now got a policy where we are allowed to just stop the discussion and walk out. The simple threat of it seems to be doing the trick.

Some of the worst culprits have been Cabinet Ministers. The ones I work for are surprisingly very polite and respectful to us.

Storming into someone's office after a departmental meeting and screaming don't you ever ****ing do that to me again in front of the boss yer ****** ******* may seem like a good idea at the time, but you should always consider the possibility that he may end up being your boss down the line. :(

I lose my **** with my staff quite frequently.. I’m trying not to currently. If they **** up I wait til I’ve calmed down then approach it in a far more sarcastic way.
