Taking the titles away is about all they can of if they are guilty (which the FTTT already indicates they are).

There aren't too many of the other sanctions that could be applied.

Will just be interesting to see if the verdict is an opt out and if so, the case presented for it ... otherwise, as you say, title stripping would appear to be the only retribution available.

Listen bhoys don't be living in a dream world. Most of you here have been Celtic
fans for five years, fifteen years, twenty five years or more. In that case what
are you blathering about, rangers 1872, were guilty of breaking every law and
rule in Scottish Football . Were they ever punished by more than a slap on the
wrist. Even after closing down with endless millions owed they were allowed to
rise again and the authorities fought tooth and nail to return them to the SPL.
For once the fans grew a pair. The authorities still broke their own rules and
Forced them into Div3. 8 months later Rangers International are still not full
Members of the SFL but are still allowed to play.

There is not a chance in the whole wide world of Rangers 1872 been found guilty
and punished accordingly. If they are found guilty and that is a big "if" it would
be impossible not to strip the titles off them. Just because Charlie Green said
That which is my signature., doesn't mean he can keep those proven to be
fraudulent. The similarity with Saville is rather stretched as now after he died there
are hundreds if not thousands with their hands out. Whilst he was living there did
Not appear to be many who had a case that the police thought would stand up to
cross examination in court. However the authorities in Scotland who for ever and a
day were forced to start an investigation into Rangers 1872 tax evasion. The
authorities don't want a guilty finding.
Nothing changed at the weekend the racist and sectarian singing got a full
Rendition. Almost immediately Vincent Lunney announced no charges.

    Hey! <laugh>

I'm not really that fussed what happens in the case as I kinda agree with Mick ...

What I do think is, if they do find them "guilty" and they are to be punished by title stripping then the titles should be left "nulled" ... not awarded to those who finished second.

<laugh> just trying to improve your hun-lover rep with the - apparently - real sellick supporters on here <ok>

Not that - as we`ve discussed before - will there be any title stripping ( imo anyway ).....but, if there was I cant see any reason why the title or cup or whatever wouldnt go to the next in line.

    I'm with Roguey.

If they right a wrong all well and good.

I think it was Caligula who got his men to flog the English channel. He tried to punish that which could not be punished. Awarding the titles to the correct recipients isn't punishment. There is no punishment for that which cannot be punished. This would just be a correction.

Take the titles and the prize money off them.

Ask the clubs who were robbed of the titles and the money if they want them re-allocated to them - if they don't, blank space in history books with a big mahoosive asterisk with a proper explanation at the foot of the page and gift the money to SCIAF.

Can't get blood from a stone. There is no money to take off them. That'll be at the back of a long long queue.

It may add more -0000000's to their final tally - a wee giggle if nothing else.

    I'm actually dreading it.

I forecast a score draw - "They did wrong but it's not enough to award every game as 3-0" type of thing.

Huns will claim it as a total victory like they did the original BTC verdict.

Forevermore, you'll hear that Rangers did nothing wrong and were victimised <doh>

    Rules are rules

If 0-3 is the outcome of cheated games then a change of champions is only a byproduct...there is no question of accepting it...to not accept it would in actuality be saying "dont give us a 3-0 win for that game" but as it is a rule you can't negotiate it.

I hope everyone sues Rangers IL and Sevco (we bought the trophies)
