I think that sums it up pretty well, I think we're all deluded if we think Mick is going to suddenly change his approach, he isn't he'll always go safety first it's part of his DNA but I geuss it won't stop us having the odd bit of hope things will get abit more entertaining but then he just goes back to type. It happens all the time, it's happened with JET, Taylor, Wordsworth and Hewitt, we rave about them when Mick gives them a chance....finally I think they could be good players for us...they produce MOM performances 2 weeks later they're out of the team again because Mick reverts to type. We might be a little more entertaining this season with some wingers but I doubt we'll suddenly start playing attacking free flowing football. Can't have been that bad for Cresswell though could it, he had the most assists of anyone in the division!!!
That statement isn't wrong, Mick is certainly pretty risk averse, but saying that you cannot deny he's a very good manager at this level and has done a great job in stabilising this club!!
