Yeah, my bad. I thought Tabb was supposed to be on the right midfield, according to the pre-match line up. Chaplow, our right midfielder, often drifted inside and indeed his best attacks started from the middle. I guess it highlights the flaws playing 4-4-2 in that we lacked any kind of threat down that right flank.
MM picks a midfield that stays compact and congests the middle of the park, that's why we always struggle when a ball is moved out wide quickly..re Johnsons goal last week!
True enough, but that second half I cannot recall a meaningful attack down the right wing, even when Bishop came on. Hopefully when Bish gets back to full fitness he can start on the right midfield. But if that happens, I definitely feel we need to sacrifice a striker and put another central midfielder in, particularly for the away trip to Middlesbrough.
Bishop is wasted out wide....how about MM actually picking 1 of the 4 wide men we have on our books to do that job? On a serious note though I actually thought Tabb did ok today....however we need someone in there to do a good job, Tabb is not that man...most of the boys did ok today, apart from Wood he was gash when he came on MM will probably not sleep tonight, that must be the worst change he has ever made, highlighted by his foul mouthed outburst at the crowd behind him when the boos wrang out!
Bish should not play wide, wasted there. I thought Chaplow did ok there. He drove forwards and joined in or created a few opportunities.
Weighty would disagree but no way is Bish a RM, Mick has to play people in their natural positions, he has brought in several wingers yet................ Sorry Mick but for me its thanks but no thanks!!
As I said a couple of days back, Mick is making good players bad by playing them out of position. We actually already have the people on our books to play differently, to be balanced and more importantly, to ATTACK teams and put them on the back foot. Add to that the fact that he coaches the attacking intent out of players and you are left with a hard working but uninspiring team that lacks real creativity.
Why on earth would I disagree??......I can have my own opinions Spanish I don't need you to try and make points for me........try thinking for yourself and not for other people.

Not often I'm welcomed........ I thought we would win today tbh...........but we are only 7 points off last seasons total with what 10 games to go so i feel we will certainly improve our points tally..............still all to play for... Makes me laugh how some want us to lose....That's not a fan imo.....

Not a complex Spanish just a nice semi........I actually said that a professional footballer could be capable of playing in a different position so I won't dismiss it before hand.....I'm not arrogant enough to think I can judge a players adaptability and such.........and I think we will beat Boro 2-1. ...................
Someone said something like they would rather us finish 15th than finish in the playoffs.....that means losing most of our remaining games ........does that make any sense to your mature mind??
