I hope for your sake Bullard did worse than Dennis Wise did to get the sack at Leicester. He was dismissed for breaking a team mate's cheekbone, but still won his appeal. Practically sent us bankrupt. Anyway, good luck.
They sacked him, the PFA said they had to re-instate him and fine him two weeks wages instead, Leicester appealed that decision and were successful, but then Wise brought a civil action for £2.3m in lost earnings. Wise won the civil action and was awarded compensation, but I'm not sure the amount was actually made public.
so the poor fella who's jaw Wise broke - did he not bring any civil action against him and indeed why was Inspector Knacker not involved......?
It was Callum Davidson and the broken jaw was the least of his problems, they flogged the poor bugger to Preston.
If he's played like he was worth 45k and not acted the way he did, I imagine the majority of fans would have loved him. He didnt though, and taking the piss always goes down badly with fans.
If a player is hated by fans of every club he has played for - what that show any right-minded fan of football. The thing about Bullard is when he retires what club would employ him as a manager (unless you are run by TWF or Duffen). Until any legal action is taken - surely if Bullard knew he had a cast-iron case that action would have already been put into motion. And a question for TWF - do you have a girlfriend/wife?
There are plenty of people that are single, if you're seriously considering using that against him (if he's single) then words cannot describe how pathetic that is.
just wondered how they put up with his man-love for bullard - that was the only reason for the question
hope so. i expect the F L to say ta tar jimmy. take it to the high court if you dare. then we can all find out what the real truth of the matter is. lol.
As far as I know, he's already way outside of the time limit for a normal appeal and the meeting with the FA this week is to try and get them to give him special permission to appeal anyway. If successful, the FA will presumably set a date for the appeal to be heard. If unsuccessful, his only option is a high court action, which he could bring whenever he likes(there's no time limit as far as I'm aware). Any high court action would make public everything he's done wrong, so I can't image he's in any great hurry to go down that route.
If he alleged breach of contract in the High Court the time limit would be 6 years from the date of the alleged breach of contract by the club
Can't he just take it to high court i want to find out exactly what happened. Is there any chance of us getting the facts without it going to high court?
I wasn't aware of that, but I can't see anyone ever exceeding it, that would be a hell of a long time to wait before bringing an action.
