I don't see any of the big boys going after him as they're not prepared to take a risk, even if its a calculated one. We have two ex-Leeds players here and a manager that clearly wants him and has been his manager before. I think we will be one of the favourites for his signature.

Colin could take Bellamy as replacement for Snodgrass, thats his style, but I can't see Snodgrass coming here. At his price range there would certainly be a bidding war, and wages would become a deciding factor. I would be very disappointed if we broke our wage structure, plus we seem to have more than enough cover in that area. Personally I think we need another goal scorer! ILD OTBC

I would agree wholeheartedly with that. One thing that has been troubling me recently is what would happen to us if Holty picked up a niggling or long term injury? If you look back over the past three seasons, aside from the odd suspension and a resting, he has pretty much been a constant cog in our upturned fortunes. Remove that cog and how effective would the end result be? Here's praying that he keeps fit and healthy and on the pitch forever more. Amen.
We need to get one of the mathematicians out there to see how many points we have picked up when he has started to when he has come on. Also as a separate aside for anyone out there, how many points have we picked up depending on who has partnered him, or different combinations of forwards if he has not played! Anyone up for the challenge?
