True but I suppose its relative: 50% to me would mean unpaid bills, to him it would mean an ever so slightly thinner property portfolio. Suppose it depends on how smartly he's invested his money so far. Does it give him the freedom to stay in the game just to play?
But even if Inter are paying him £200k an we offer to paid £100k, it wouldn't be a 50% pay cut. It would be 50% he was being paid by the club but he gets millions in sponsorship etc too. Obviously, the figures I put are for arguments sake
If I was earning as much as he is I'd consider it. Play in the Prem for 2 or 3 years and rediscover his form of a few seasons ago where he was arguably the best around for his position,or disappear into obscurity in Turkey earning bucket loads of cash. I have my reservations on this one.
