They don't have the amount of away fans we have in this country given the greater travelling distances and the politics. Real Madrid and .Barcelona only give each other about 300 tickets for away fans.
Rick @HullCityLive Heard a tale today of a guy who is being moved from Upper West and can only be accomodated in more expensive areas. Well done @HullCity Rick @HullCityLive He phoned @HullCity, their only help was to advise him he cancel after 3 months if he doesn't like it. ****ing useless.
While we'd all agree membership scheme is ****. How is that possible? 12-14000 memberships haven't we? I don't see that being likely
We've currently got just under 13,000 members and it's falling now the family guarantee has been removed and the West Upper closed. I wouldn't have posted those tweets if it was just some randomer, but Rick wouldn't have posted it unless he was certain it happened.
Must admit that puzzled me. Maybe he can only get a seat in lower West or in corporate due to the fantastic membership scheme meaning the club have been inundated with applications and can't cope with the demand. Ehab will explain why this success means they are having to shut upper West in due course.
If they were in U1 or U2 it's Zone 1, so everywhere other than Zone 1 (North and South) would be more expensive. Maybe they didn't want to go in the family stand and didn't want to stand up, so it's just seats in the East or West that are being offered at higher prices.
In 2014 we had near on 20000 supporters paying upward of £500 for a season pass. In 2017 we have less than 13000 paying between £252 & £497 for a membership. Baffling. Of course concessions were paying less than the £500.
