I briefly chatted with her over the weekend and glossed through some of the points that were raised at the start of the thread and how they haven't delivered on the key points of the membership scheme. She agreed that from what i'd said there would likely be somthing for trading standards to look at, but obviously she didn't know the full facts or wording of the points but advised me to get in touch though. The key point she raised was that for trading standards to look into it, there would need to be multiple complaints, so I would advise anyone on here to take 5 minutes and complain and we could see action taken.
It didn't change anything, it was only successful in that the complaint was upheld (though the club only got a slapped wrist for it).
To be honest, I can't remember the exact details, but I think the main issue was the claim that you got a benefit from joining by a certain date, when in fact there was no benefit at all.
It was the claim. I've not read the recent stuff. Is there a similar suggestion? You get a fine for dropping a *** end, which puts the scale of this alleged 'offence' in perspective. I'm not trying to be negative, but some seem to see this outcome as maybe more than it is.
A bit ironic, but the club that Hull City have prevented from playing in a Senior Cup Final at the KCOM, is Hull City. Hull City v Brid Town will now be played at Hall Road Rangers gaff on May 10th.
Not gone down well with the Brid Town management either... Ian Ashbee @AshbeeIan Community ground, family orientated, giving back to the people of Hull. Local grass roots lads missing out because of greed @HullCity.
Well Brendon was shoe horned out of the club within weeks of the Allams taking full control of City .
