    Guys I said the other day that if Chopra doesn't become an Ipswich Town player by the end of the week I will shave off my beloved moustache and post the clip on youtube! Well I have had a nervous wait but it looks increasingly likely that my handlebars will be remaining intact!

    JWM I hear that Mr Evans thinks that you might look rather fetching without your tache...Will we agree personal terms? Apparently he is Cardiff's highest earner, which worries me a bit. May be he will price himself out of our range. And if anyone takes this as an opportunity to have a go at Clegg, I will scream. Evans will determine his wages, not Clegg.

    What actually is Clegg's role? If PJ is negotiating wages after a budget being set by ME, what is left for Clegg apart from making tea and keeping Chopra away from ladbrokes?

    We've only done the easy bit - agreeing a fee. He's come to Portman Road - Clegg will be back by now from Cyprus - expect Chops to sign for Doncaster or Pompey or Coventry in the next few days <ok>

    If calamity Clegg ****s this up the fans will be screaming for his head! I know he has to work under a wage structure but sometimes you have to bite the bullet and pay the going rate for quality players.

    perhaps Chopra is a bit of a thicky & reads these pages????

    He has told Clegg that he will only sign once we have "imminent" on our books!!

    So it could all be your fault if he does not sign !!!!

    If Evans tells Clegg that he cant have more than 15K per week, then that is what Clegg has to work to. Its too easy to blame the guy but none of us actually know what constraints are put on him. Its too simplistic just to blame Clegg all the time.

    If the deal goes through then this a great bit of business. If Choppa does sign as well then this might make other people seriously consider coming to us as well :)

    Have faith guys the "Invisible One" is handling things as far as negotiations are concerned! I fully expect Chopra and Ingar (whats his face!) to be Ipswich Town players by the end of today! I do not expect to lose the 25 year association with my moustache that easily! <ok>
