Thats insulting you? Proof? What are you expecting? You have read the reports. Ever heard the saying no smoke without fire? As yes im positive because I can finally see the club moving forwards in the right direction. Im not sat about trying to defend the man who got sacked for failing Move on and get behind Rodgers. Like a “proper Leicester fan”
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...ck-claude-puel-target-brendan-rodgers-summer/ Have a read of that.
Ive had enough of debating the Puel ****. He is gone now move on. Sunday wasnt good enough but it was day 1 of a new era. Rodgers has 9 games to work out what he has and what he needs for the summer Saturday is Fulham at home. Its been a very tough season for our club. Hardest ever in many terms. Top has made his choice in Rodgers which the vast majority are behind. Time to move on
I was expecting actual proof - I can say that Vardy said that Puel is the greatest manager he ever played under and that has as much truth as what you have written You call the last game moving forward and going in the right direction? You really have an such an absolute hatred for Puel that that performance was acceptable to you simply because he wasn't there? Haven't mentioned Rodgers once but I'll get behind him like our "proper" fans got behind Puel right
Now your talking bollocks and trying to create an arguement for the sake of it Its about it being Rodgers first game so why get on his back? Had he been in charge all season and that happened it would be completely different And “hatred” of Puel you really lose any credibility with simple minded comments like that. When he did right or wasnt to blame I didnt blame him When he was he got criticised. Like any manager of any club gets So me having a season ticket nearly 20 years doesnt make me a proper Leicester fan because I lost faith in a manager
I'm not blaming Rodgers for anything - I just find it really funny how you are suddenly changing your tone completely - all of the vitriol about our performances suddenly disappearing and you basically saying what I have been saying to you for many months
You do realise with a new manager its called a fresh start. He changed the formation and it didnt work straight away The performance was ****. No one has said or claimed otherwise so im struggling to get your point. Things had to change and they have. You do realise not everything can change overnight? Either you dont understand football at all or you looking to create arguements for the sake of it. Im bored now anyway of it
I have said my piece - if you don't understand then fair enough. I look forward to you still blaming Puel for everything in the future
I'll give you my thoughts if they mean anything to you - Rodgers has experience of the league and he was willing to join straight away. Where he currently is is irrelevant to his background - Raneiri had been sacked by Greece for after no wins and losing to the Faroe Islands before he joined us. Will he be a good fit for us? I think so. The big negatives that people have been telling us is his deluded interviews - experienced it from our last game and imo is better then having a manager that calls journalists ostriches or Puel droning on and on so can forgive it. Other negative is that he will leave if he gets a better offer - to get that better offer, he needs to get this club performing so I'm fine with that as I support the team not the manager. Will also mean that I can go to that clubs board to talk **** about him right
Seeing as the debate hasn't finished I would just like to add I was/am a Puel in person not an apologist. I could see the long term plan and how the squad was developing. Rodgers or whoever follows will benefit greatly if the young players remain at the club. Whilst some results were poor some people don't seem to get we are 11th in the Premier League. They want instant gratification and results and that just doesn't happen. Gutted at the weekend but its not going to eat from the inside, instead I'm now looking forward to the next game and a great performance.
Raid of Celtic set to continue https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...argets-celtic-head-recruitment-lee-congerton/
You're more than welcome to him - in fact, please, please take him ... Rodgers, in an old pals act, from both their Chelsea days under Mourinho, foisted him upon us. He's sure to unearth a few duds for you and make short work of wasting a fair chunk of that '£200m'! Sunderland fans think the world of him as well ... https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/03/...t-on-twitter-to-celtic-appointing-lee-conger/
