There's been another update to our story on Brendan Rodgers, with the Celtic boss expected to be confirmed as Leicester City's new manager after holding talks with the Premier League club.

 

It may have took 19 years, but we finally have revenge for Martin O'Neill!

Skys article on what he needs to do here makes him sound like a good fit.

 

I am coming round to the thinking that Rodgers will be a good fit for us. It will be very interesting if he is at the game tonight.

 

Problem with Rodgers is that he talks a load of crap and anything he says becomes instantly forgettable. If he can get you the results then fine but I wouldn't go jumping through hoops at his appointment.

 

Kolo Toure is coming aswell as a coach

A pretty accurate and balanced view of the situation. Actually nice to read something which doesn't suggest we have ridiculous expectations after winning the league but that we have the squad to be doing better.

Mate - after Claude Puel and Nigel Pearson press conferences, we are well used to this. Claudio was like an oasis in a conference desert - and completely memorable. I reckon that anyone on here could write Klipperty Klopps press conferences or any other managers for that matter. If he brings on our academy lads whilst getting results in the Prem, then happy days.

 

Yeah might work, he would do well to go back to the possession footy he played with Swansea imo, the footy was good and that's what got him noticed.

 

I dont mind us playing possesion football. But its got to be with a purpose. Not whe Puel had us do

Hopefully Rodgers gets more out of Iheanacho and possibly Adrien Silva in the summer if he stays
