oops I'm losing 1-0 Well PB doesn't seem to be able to get a job which is a suprise seen as TWF says he is better then NP On the other hand NP has got a job with a team in a play off place. Anyway ...we ended up with Steve Bruce who in my opinion is better then Both of them so we win..
Weak. At the end of the season then, will PB be better in your opinion? NP has achieved **** all in football management compared to PB. True story.
http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/leicestercity#axzz2OAmPQ6Z3 Can't access it, maybe blocked. Either way, its being discussed in Leicester.
Brown was fired by Derby after a win rate of 15.15%, then got his 1 promotion with us and was put on gardening leave after 1 win in 15 games. Then at Preston he got the team relegated (and if you try to blame Darren Ferguson for that, then we can use the same logic to say he got us relegated) Pearson on the other hand has won League 1 and reached the playoffs with Leicester when he was first employed there and has never been involved with a team getting relegated as manager. So on actual number of managerial honours is the same, plus Pearson has managed England Under 21s - okay it was just once but you don't allow just any manager near England National teams. Ball back in your court TWF
I just think IF PB was as good as TWF thinks , then he would have been snapped up by another club by now . Yet it seems no one wants him.
At Derby he had players sold behind his back. Here, he took us to the Premiership, kept us there, and was on course to keep us up again. At Preston he took on an impossible task (nothing like when Dowie took over here) and nearly pulled it off. He then had the team in a far better position than they're in now. Pearson, on the other hand, has won League 1 with a Championship budget. That's it. He has never managed in the Premiership and never will. Comparing his League 1 win to Brown's achievement here is ******ed. Stuart Pearce is U21 manager, so yes, they do let anyone near the national team.
Right. To sum up then, Brown was ****. Pearson was ****. Bruce is not ****, but will be when he is sacked/ leaves for someone else.
All wrong. Brown was great, then he was ****. Pearson steadied the ship, but ended up behaving like a complete cock. Bruce is playing better football than either of the above and may or may not turn out to be a ****. PS- You forgot to mention that Barmby was a god amongst men.
What world do you live in TWF, he had given us 1 win in 15 and we were in the relegation places when he was put on gardening leave - so how would we have stayed up Do enlighten us. and Brown actually has said "I hold myself responsible for relegation, end of story" about Preston. And just remind us WHO is still employed as a manager Brown or Pearson. If even Oldham are appointing 31 year old unheard ofs as managers over the saviour of football (in TWF's eyes) then what does that say about the faith they must have in Brown. Anyway his deluded ramblings are because he is scared that Steve Bruce will become our best ever manager, and if we finish 2nd and Leicester win the play-offs then Pearson will also be a PL manager.
Serious non-wum question: Are you a moron? Why would I not want Bruce to be successful? Also, I've no fear about Leicester getting promoted. Ain't gonna happen.
Surprising that Phil Brown hasn't got a job then TWF isn't it ? Unless you actually take into consideration the negatives On the other hand you see nothing positive at all about Nigel Pearson I can't really take your views seriously
But that is what the typical fan will say at every club. every manager who leaves is rubbish and every manager who comes to the club is brilliant until they do something to annoy said fan. Dowie was the exception, even though I think we should kept him on for a full season (probably the only Hull fan who would sat that)
