We only have 23 players,
Cisse, Cambell, Woods, all on loan.
Byrne and O'Conner injured.
We are now down to just 18 players available for selection.

Mark Marshall now left the club after a short spell with us. I now make the squad as follows:

GK: Bonham & Walsh
DEF: Ogilvie, Fuller, Tucker, Ehmer, Hodson, Garmston
MID: Jones, Lee, Pringle, Willock, O'Keefe, RCC
FW: Hanlan, Roberts, Mandron & Jakubiak

O'Connor out for 2/3 weeks and Byrne out for the season. TJ Bramble also out on loan with a handful of U18s.

Signings needed asap for numbers if anything else.

I'm sure I haven't just made this up in my head but didn't Hessy have to play the youth team once in L2, because we were so threadbare?

If you mean when players like Essam, Evans, Rance & Davies were chucked in that was more down to the number of injuries we had under Hess rather than having a small squad. God knows what Hessy used to do to them in training but we always had about 10 players+ injured with Hessy as boss.

And that's just the goalkeepers --- in one season under Hessy, we used 6 different keepers (( we might have stood a better chance of not conceding goals if we used 6 keepers in one game ))
