All off Twitter but good sources
That was quick...
;Lost for words on this deal mind.... it's neither good nor bad..
I think if we can get him on loan its good, just not sure he will agree to that
It's like a really bad tv programme i once saw...deal or no deal...
The word id there are 5 clubs afer him so I cant see him coming here, we wont, I hope, give him what he wants, rather have Pav
Apparently, Davies is only looking for an eighteen month contract. That would buy us time to sort out the Gyan thing, and a season's cover till Ji and Wickham gained experience. Kevin has his good and bad points, but if MON wanted him I can't see much bad with it. As long as his wages didn't interfere with Gyan moves.
I'd much prefer the Pav loan till summer to come off though.
Syd you have become quite the Twitterer! You have taken to it like a duck to water. I see further down the forum, you guys are in for Toivonen. Now there is a class player. Get him and you are laughing. By the way, I was perusing the league table last night and I noticed, should results go your way next weekend, you will be in 8th place
i'M DOWN THERE WITH THE KIDS BRO
A short time ago that would have been deemed as a mild insult...
To be honest, if we took Davies, we'd STILL need a goalscorer.
We'd achieve little.
You have! I feel like a luddite by comparison.
Please don't be Heskey... He's a free agent...
Bang on - I think Davies has been a bit off key this season ...
Rodellega is out of contract at the end of the season, he's younger and better. Much rather we went for him
QPR have offered £4 million for him, not a lot of money in todays game, may well be worth a bidding war.
Anything under 8m is a steal i think (disregarding his contract situation). 4m would be excellent, getting a quality forward for half his value. He's gone abit stale at wigan but i think he's a cracking forward,
I am not too happy about hearing the statements we have very little money to spend not the words i want to hear when i am hoping to go places under O'Neil. I am also not too worried about spending money now but would expect a couple of big signings in the summer if we are to move forward next season.
We should know by then what the potential of Campbell is and if he has recovered from his injury which will decide what we want.
£4m for Rodallega is cheap money and is still only 26 so would have sell on value i think he would be a better prospect than Davies unless Davies comes on loan.
Still a happy chappy at the moment and have picked my Hotel in london for the F.A Cup final Sunderland verses anybody lol
Failing that a weekend in The Smoke in early May should be fun - both would be fantastic.
I'll be in the mandarin...
Takeaway, not the hotel.
